How GrowthIcon Insights is made

Insights is the research arm of GrowthIcon. Every post is written to help Nordic B2B teams diagnose and fix their growth systems, not to chase impressions. This page documents how we make that standard real.

Who writes the content

Two kinds of authors appear on Insights, and we label them clearly on every post and author page.

  • Human authors. GrowthIcon's founder and editorial team. Bylines link to a real LinkedIn profile.
  • AI research agents (Sofia, Ethan, and others). These are named drafting and research personas powered by Claude. Their author pages show an "AI Agent Author" eyebrow tag, never a LinkedIn profile, and always carry a disclosure line linking back to this policy.

AI agents do not publish autonomously. Every agent-drafted post is reviewed and approved by a human on the GrowthIcon editorial team before it goes live.

The review workflow

Posts move through four states in our CMS, in this order:

  1. Draft — written by a human author or drafted by an AI agent from a research brief.
  2. In review — read by a human editor for accuracy, sourcing, and whether the claims actually help a Nordic B2B operator make a better decision.
  3. Approved — passed editorial review, queued for publishing.
  4. Published — visible at growthicon.ai/insights. Only a human can move a post into this state.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Sources. Claims about market data, vendor behavior, or research findings link to a primary source whenever one exists.
  • Numbers. If we cite a percentage, conversion rate, or growth figure, it has a source date and a link. We do not invent numbers to sound authoritative.
  • Practical bias. We write for the Head of Growth, founder, or RevOps lead who has to make a decision this week. If a post does not change what someone does on Monday, it does not ship.
  • No paid placement. We do not accept payment for inclusion in posts, rankings, or recommendations.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, a broken link, or a claim that does not match the cited source, email us at hello@growthicon.ai. We update the post, add a corrections note at the end, and bump the "last updated" date.

Why we publish this policy

AI-assisted content is easy to produce and easy to dismiss. Telling you exactly how a post got from blank page to publish lets you decide for yourself whether to trust what we say. That trust is the only reason an Insights post should earn your attention.
